Textile playhouses are a wonderful toy. They satisfy the desire for a "cave", are great to play with and can even support or shape entire themes in a child's room. Because they usually reflect a children's room world.

This can be a farm or a castle. Maritime, like a boathouse or a pirate's hut. Girly, like a castle or fairy palace. There are no limits to your imagination.

The textile playhouses are constructed according to the tent principle. There is usually a framework of poles for stabilisation. These can be inserted into each other. The fabric is then stretched over the resulting structure.

The advantages are obvious. The house is light, easy to set up and take down again, and it is literally soft and transparent. It is therefore not so bulky and can be moved easily due to its low weight.

Of course, the playhouses are best suited for indoor use. But if the weather permits, there is nothing to stop you from putting the house in the garden, on the terrace or on the balcony.

Designing the playhouses 

The fabric offers a wide range of design options with prints, appliqués or even "cuts". Windows or doors can be let in, entire motifs can be applied or even the surfaces can be designed in a wide variety of colours. In this way, the corresponding theme is implemented in the best possible way and integrated into a possible children's room theme.

The shape is also decisive for the effect. They can be classic tents, real houses or lifelike wigwams and teepees for children.

Of course, there are also classic and more restrained design options. Solid colours, stripes or checks are more varied in combination and are not so fixed on a theme overall.
