For more than 30 years, PlanToys from Belgium has stood for great products with high play value, which are developed and produced with the relentless pursuit of sustainability and a positive contribution to our world.

PlanToys was not only the first company to produce wooden toys without preservatives, but is currently particularly proud to have developed a new material, PlanWood, which is environmentally friendly as it minimises the waste generated in normal production and can be produced in an energy-saving way at the same time. We find this attitude towards the environment and sustainability very impressive.

   

 

It is PlanToys' concern to turn children into creative minds through their toys and, along the way, to teach them about nature and the sustainable use of it, so that they grow up with the awareness of respecting the values of the earth and preserving the natural reserves for future generations.
This philosophy, in harmony with exceptionally beautiful design that appeals to children and adults alike, has already brought PlanToys many awards worldwide, including the Reddot Design Award, spiel gut and German Design Prize for wooden toys.

Whether you order just one boat, or all three of them to race around in your tub,  the little ones will have great fun and get clean too by the way! The beautiful Marble Run in great colours and the Building Block Sets Knight's Castle and Princess Castle are a wonderful breath of fresh air on the building block front - they train motor skills and offer creative fun at the same time!  

We are incredibly happy to have finally found great boys' toys again! With the fantastic airport and the great parking garage they  ll not see their little and big men for hours because they will be engrossed in their play world! Of course, PlanToys has not reinvented dollhouses, but we particularly like the different and more modern style of these houses! The Go Green model excites us not only because of the environmental aspect it conveys, but also because in its pure design it is finally a house that is also playable for boys!

 

 

PlanToys is made exclusively from the wood of rubber trees that no longer produce latex. To keep the wood especially pure, the trees are not fertilised for 3 years before they are to be felled, and a chemical-free kiln-drying process is also used.
PlanToys uses water-based paints made from organic colour pigments. All PlanToys products are tested in independent laboratories and meet international safety standards for toys: EN71 for Europe and ASTM for USA. 

 

 

All catalogues are printed with soy ink, which is biodegradable, on environmental paper. PlanToys is FSC certified and uses a biomass plant to generate electricity from the last waste products of manufacturing, which powers the entire factory and also surrounding villages.

The OHSAS 18001 certificate was awarded for the safe and healthy working environment of employees in the factory and office, ISO 9001 for achieving world class product quality and service standards and ISO 14001 for environmental commitment.

PlanToys is a carbon neutral company! Last year, the production of 2.5 million toys emitted 2,569,373 kg of CO2, which was offset by planting 9,000 trees as they absorbed 2,700,000 kg of CO2.
